Good afternoon, Habib. Not too long ago you told me that the best of my life was ahead of me. That I wasn’t going to recognize myself. That there was light ahead. And even in my darkest hours your love and kindness and endless generosity and wisdom made me believe you. And now, as I find myself standing in or at least stepping into that light you talked about I marvel at how bright it is and how unrecognizable I am and, most importantly, how grateful I am to you and your commitment to me and to your life and your calling and to how fearlessly and generously you give yourself to all of us — the ones lucky enough to call you our doctor, mentor, coach and friend. Thank you so much for all you provide for me and my family. I love you and you are forever in my heart.
